Do you remember?

Do you remember?
you were my captivating_eyed whale
played life for me
at night
from afar you were
concerned about my
honey good mornings,
in a Kurdish bread and yogurt
I wrapped around your throat
like a cup of tea
with a single greeting
and from a thousand miles away
you were my motherland’s jacket
when you said: “darling!”

but my heart wasn’t a lodging house
then you go,
though tonight
and last night
so many nights before
through alleyway
was looking for you

now I go to the sea every day
the soft sand and the dead fish
the blue sea and the alive fish
the moss and the pebbles
the frog
the crab
and seagulls
see all
but you

sound of ships grows
another travel
in my mind
far-off hellos of smiling old captain
drag me in
thought of night
they make me smoke
more and more,
on the gutters
a sparrow gets lost
and the nests get ruined
over their prosperity

I am drunkenly plastered
because of you
as if I’ve washed myself
in the grape juice
let destiny whatever it wants
what the hell…’cause
nobody can heal this wound
except you
nothing can make this night
fall into sleep
in the darkness
except for your song
the flute of this forgetfulness
smiles at the life again
only by your lips.
