Migrlaugh*

By: Amir Sirajaddin

Translation: Ata Miraki

.

This my headside/ this side of my head’s numb.
other my headside,
other side of my head; a funny face
this my illness laughs at that my malady!

not playin’, I’m just joking with words
makin’ fun of myself
so I can forget this pain!

I’m thirty for the sunset
thirty to be overturned
from this side to other side of my head.
a spark from lightness
a whisper from voice,
a step from leaving
a pain and a dark scream;
from this side to other side of my head.

I’m two halves
two painting in two languagees,
two eyes, two sketchs
two upside-down worlds,
“Monk”  screamin’ this my headside
“Da Vinci” laughin’ at other my headside.
as the head is migraining*
you’re alone with yourself,
whether this or that side of your head!

the east of this universe is night and it’s west is day
I squeeze both poles with both hands
to stop from beating/ I can’t.
life’s a ridiculous laugh
a time stop,
a stop over every single this poem’s word.

I’m the centre of the accident
a dying star
an endless black hole,
that time and language are bending
bent inside me…
or
an incomplete note
being whispered undre a Glenn Gould’s lips
who doesn’t know how to pain me
how to shake me.

shakin’, this pain is
a shake beyond darkness
beyond this words;
that can’t
that won’t be able
to…
_ pain can’t be written, can it?

pain is life and
life’s an endless pain
the second hurts;
my minutes, my hours,  my days
and my months as well

tell me
you, who are comoosing poems
with me,
_ my head hurts, how about you?

*Migrlaugh and migraining as a mixed word( migraine and laugh) and a gerund, both are two changed forms for standard language, However, you can see this poem as an example of language poetry and deconstructing in syntax and its content.
